Contrary to popular belief, Estate Planning and Planned Giving are not just for the wealthy. Do you have a Will in place? Good, then you have begun one important part of your personal planning. Does it provide for all those you care about? Have you reviewed it recently? When you prepare a proper estate plan, you insure that your assets accomplish your personal, financial goals, protecting your assets, and in many instances, sharing them. As you can see from these pages, there are several planned gifts that enable the donor to receive significant tax deductions in his or her lifetime, and achieve a regular tax free annuity at very good rates. We urge you to review the pages appropriate to your situation and explore those options that fit your objectives: financial, personal, and philanthropic. By thoughtful will and trust arrangements you can benefit those who mean the most to you—including the charitable causes you support. This site should not replace professional advice—but it certainly can suggest some strategies that you should discuss with that advisor. To the extent that TCNJ can assist you in finding answers to your estate planning questions, please feel encouraged to call upon our resources. And if we can help you develop a plan that meets your objectives and provides for the College, then for that we are exceedingly grateful. We want you to take full advantage of the opportunities that are available to you, through estate planning and planned giving. |
