Professor Ahlawat has published articles in several journals, including Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Advances in Accounting Behavioral Research, the Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, the International Journal of Technology Management, and the Journal of American Academy of Business.
Fullbright Scholar Grant
Professor Ahlawat has been awarded a Fulbright Scholar Grant to lecture and conduct research at University College Dublin in Ireland during the fall semester of 2008.
She will teach a course in managerial accounting and will also help the school develop a course in Accounting Information Systems. As for the research aspect, she will focus on issues related to the convergence of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
