Business Scholars Program
The Business Scholars Program was implemented in the fall of 2005. The program admitted students for the Class of 2009 and 2010 with a minimum SAT of 1400, a top 5% high school class rank, community service involvement, extracurricular activities, and two letters of recommendation. The program offers students unique and challenging co-curricular and academic activities designed to enhance their problem solving and critical thinking skills along with teamwork and leadership exercises.
Beginning in the spring 2007, a task force of administrative and faculty members has been charged by the Dean’s office with reviewing and modifying where necessary the program’s structure and content. We believe this effort is consistent with our motto, ‘Where Business Gets Real’. Consequently, the Class of 2011 will be deferred until such time as this evaluation has been completed.
