>MaryLou Ramsey, Prof., Counselor Education, gave a presentation entitled ''Clinical Group Supervision: Can We Share?'' at the Fall 2003 North Atlantic Regional Association of Counselor Educators and Supervisors Conference in Canandaigua New York.

>The School of Education was awarded the Teacher Quality Enhancement State Grant Evaluation Component by the NJ Dept. of Education.

The purpose of the award is to evaluate implementation of the Teacher Quality Enhancement State Grant (for aligning teacher prep. with state standards, new alternate route programs, and mentoring programs for new teachers).

>Sarah Kern published an article on mentoring in the International Journal of In-Service Education.

>Sarah Kern, Sharon Sherman and Anthony Conte had an article accepted on evaluation of the conceptual framework of the School of Education in Educational Forum.

>Jacqueline Norris published an article on social and emotional learning in Theory and Practice.

>Sharon Sherman published a textbook, "Science and Science Teaching: Methods for Integrating Technology in Elementary and Middle Schools" with Houghton Mifflin Co.

>The TCNJ Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi received an award for outstanding achievement at the KDP National Conference. Anthony Conte is the KDP advisor. Elementary education major Kim Orthemann is the KDP president.

>Sharon Sherman was invited to present a workshop for principals, supervisors and teachers on preparation for standardized testing in science for the New Jersey Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.

>Cathy Liebars of the Dept. of Mathematics and Statistics and Sharon Sherman of EECE are co-principal investigators of the Teachers as Leaders and Learners Math, Science and Technology Grant. The purpose of the grant is to provide professional development in math, science and technology and student achievement in the Trenton Public Schools.

>The School of Education was awarded the DeafBlind-Family & Community Educational Support (DB-FACES) grant. Jerry Petroff, PI.

>Mark Kiselica will be serving as the editor for a Praeger Book
Series on the Psychology of Men and Masculinity.

>Mark Kiselica recently published an article in the Fall 2003 Journal of Counseling & Development entitled, "Anti-Semitism and Insensitivity Toward Jews by the Counseling Profession: A Gentile's View on the Problem and His Hope for Reconciliation--A Response to Weinrach (2002)."
