TCNJ Engineering
Students Go Off-Roading
with MINI BAJA EAST
TCNJ engineering students
have competed against some of the nations most
prestigious engineering schools in the Society of
Automotive Engineering sponsored "MINI BAJA EAST"
competition. The objective of this competition is to
give engineering students a chance to practice what is
learned in the classrooms. The vehicle must be capable
of negotiating rough terrain and deep water without
damage, be safe, be fun to drive, and be easily
maintained. Engineering students from TCNJ have competed
annually since 1984, placing regularly in the top 10,
and winning the competition in 1991.
