IMM is about people using interactive technology to empower, entertain, collaborate and educate. We make 3D animations and web applications, online magazines, podcasts, videos and video games. And that's not all. Please take some time to browse through the site and get to know some of the people, projects and ideas that power IMM.
Dr. Martinovic's research interests are computer science and interactive computing, including information retrieval, artificial intelligence and computing for education.
Learn more about the people in IMM...Digital media have led to new methods of communication that affect how we work, play, and see ourselves and our environment. When digital media combine with interactivity and new means of distribution such as CD, DVD, and the Internet, the result is interactive multimedia. This course develops the student's understanding of interactive media and its relationship to digital media. It explores interactivity, its design, and production, including delivery formats and digital distribution systems. Students develop a project in their chosen area. This course uses critiques of individual student work, readings, and discussion to examine the evolving formal criteria and social implications of this work.
