Deadlines

Proposals for proper review must be submitted in a timely fashion according to the following guidelines:

Type of Review	Submission Deadline
Expedited	At least 2 weeks before start date of the study
Full Committee	At least 4 weeks before start date of the study

Applicants should keep in mind that the committee will sometimes request revisions or additional information.

Calendar

For a research project to be reviewed in a particular month, the complete application must be received at least two weeks before a scheduled IRB meeting, although more time is recommended. Additional time may be needed if a proposal must be reviewed using more than one review procedure.
