Arrival Process

This section of the website includes information that details how to obtain a Visa, instructions on entering the U.S., and a checklist of pre-arrival reminders.

The Office of International and Off-Campus programs and the Summer School is responsible for the general welfare of global students and scholars at The College of New Jersey. Our staff assists with problems concerning your immigration and employment status and social or personal adjustment to academic life in the United States.

It is very important that all students make an appointment with the Office of International and Off-Campus programs and the Summer School at the start date of the semester as part of immigration "registration". This is an official US immigration requirement; failure to comply may lead to a revocation of your F or J visa student status. An appointment can be made by contacting:

Beverly Kalinowski, Assistant Dean
The College of New Jersey
Office of International and Off-Campus Programs and the Summer School
phone: 609.771.2326
email: bkalinow@tcnj.edu

Remember to bring your passport and other immigration documents with you for your first visit to OAS: visa stamp, I-20 or DS-2019 and I-94 card. Registration will be part of Global Student Orientation. If you miss the official orientation period, it is your responsibility to report to Beverly Kalinowski to register your immigration documents.
