What does it mean to be an ACE of the ACE chapter?
"The Gamma Zeta Chapter at The College of New Jersey
was awarded the second Ace of the ACE Award during Convocation in Orlando, FL
on November 5, 2005. The chapter has grown and increased activity each year,
and has been a positive force in the community. The programming that the
chapter completed is unique and, as one ACE Award judge noted the chapter
stretches each year. The chapter is a top fund-raiser. Over the past biennium,
they raised more than $7,500 for local charities. The students and officers
are the driving force behind the chapter's success. In fact, after being
notified that the chapter had won an ACE Award, the chapter counselor
contacted Headquarters to indicate how happy they were, not only because of
the recognition, but also because of the validation it gives to the members
who run the chapter. Their responsiveness to Headquarters is outstanding.
Anytime suggestions or input is needed, they are there to serve."
