KDP Committees
All committees must work together to make KDP successful! Each event requires the work of several committees to communicate with each other and work as a team! Please join a committee you are interested in and will be dedicated to :)
Each committee will
have an executive board overseer to contact with questions and concerns. The
overseer will sit in on meetings and make sure the committee is
running smoothly and efficiently.
Each committee will also have two or three co-chairs who will be responsible for heading and organizing the work of the committee as well as communicating with the executive board overseer about the committee's progress.

get the word out through the Signal and by hanging flyers at local businesses.
Fundraising
What's my

What's my
job?
Your job is year-round! Membership recruitment is an on-going process, meaning
you should set up table(s) in the student center to "sell" KDP to those who
either don't know about the organization or feel being nominated is enough. In
addition, you must send out membership invitiations, collect and sort
paperwork, and notify new members of their application status.

ordering flowers, making and printing programs, chair and table set-up and

Points System
Points are earned by members when they attend meetings and activities
There is no minimum number of points needed to become a member or remain a member
Once a member has reached 25 points, he/she is eligible to receive a honor cord to be worn at graduation
Honor cords are given out during the yearly induction ceremony
Members are responsible for recording the activities and meetings they attend so that at the end of the semester, points can be tallied through SOCS
Questions about points? Please see an executive board member!
