Liberal Learning Program Council

With respect to individual courses and the program as a whole, the Liberal Learning Advisory Council is charged with the responsibility to promote liberal learning by facilitating faculty and departmental participation and making the new system (including intellectual and scholarly growth, civic responsibilities, and domains of human inquiry) visible, comprehensive, and valued throughout the campus community.

  4. WRI 101, First Year Writing, one-quarter course unit (one credit) to be applied to liberal learning requirements, as determined by SAT scores and/or scores on the Writing Exemption and Placement Exam.  Presently the course carries no academic credit.
