Calculus Requirement
Many students enrolled at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) have a major that requires Calculus (either MAT127: Calculus A or MAT125: Calculus for Business and the Social Sciences). Students wanting to take a Calculus course must meet specified entrance requirements before enrolling in the course. If you do not meet these requirements, you may be placed into a lower level course.
The default course placement is based on your SAT-Math score and the high school math courses you have taken .
