Mu Sigma Upsilon
Sorority, Inc.was founded as the FIRST Multicultural Greek Letter
Society in the nation. Our sisters' heritages are not concetrated
on one area of the world, but cover the entire globe. Our primary
goal is to unite ALL women which we accomplish by creating a bond
of sisterhood across all cultures, religions and creeds. Our activities
and programming are never geared toward one culture, which makes
us different from other sororities and organizations. We take part
in many events which not only allow us to learn about other cultures,
but present us with the opportunity to explore our own.

Abrianeme Founders
Fall 2001
The founders of the Abrianeme
Chapter here at The College of New Jersey felt the need for an organization
on campus that was truly a representation of more than one basic
culture. The founders were Italian, Puerto Rican, Caucasian, Native American,
African American, Jewish, Liberian and Egyptian and for this reason
have adopted the nickname "Epitome of Mu" for their chapter.
