Mr. Day is an Adjunct Instructor of Music at The College of New Jersey where he teaches:
Mr. Day holds a Masters in Performance from the State University of New York at Stony Brook where he studied with Jean Dupouy, John Graham, and Francis Tursi. He also studied harpsichord with Peter Wolf and Anthony Newman.
Mr. Day has played as Principal Viola with orchestras in both the United States and Europe, including the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra, the Quebec Symphony Orchestra, and the Orchestra of the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Italy.
Mr. Day’s teaching experience includes violin and viola instruction at the Community Music School in Allentown, PA, Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA, and the Musical Arts Academy of Bucks County, PA where he also coaches chamber music.
Currently, Mr. Day divides his time between teaching, performing primarily chamber music, and editing works of the Italian viola virtuoso Allesandro Rolla.
