The College of New Jersey is ranked 23rd nationally (better than any other New Jersey college or university) in Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine's list of the best values in public higher education. TCNJ is regarded as an even better value for out-of-state students, ranking 5th nationally in that category. |

The College of New Jersey once again is the top public college in U.S. News and World Report's list of Best Universities-Master's category for the northern region of the country. For the 2009 edition, the College is ranked 6th in the standings among both public and private institutions in the Best Universities-Master's category for the north, where 165 schools were ranked. |

Topping off a year of accolades, The College of New Jersey has been selected to appear in Barron’s Best Buys in College Education, available in bookstores now. Appearing alongside schools such as Penn State and University of California- Berkeley, the College is one of only 247 institutes of higher education nationwide to receive this honor. Rutgers University-New Brunswick was the only other school in New Jersey to make the cut. |

The Princeton Review announced that The College of New Jersey ranked 7th on its 2008 “Happiest Students” list, edging out Yale University (#9), the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (#13), and Bowdoin College (#8), among others. TCNJ also emerged as one of the top 20 (#20) on the “Most Beautiful Campus” ranking. |

The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) has been named one of the nation’s top schools, according to rankings published in the 2007 edition of Barron’s Profiles of American Colleges. TCNJ joins the University of Virginia, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the College of William and Mary, and the University of California at Los Angeles as the only state-supported institutions among the 75 schools that Barron’s lists in its “Most Competitive” category. Others among those garnering that distinction were Duke University, Stanford University, and the eight Ivy League schools. |

The College of New Jersey is featured in Fiske Guide to Colleges (2008) as "one of the nation's budget Ivies" with affordable tuition and a location that offers a "relaxed suburban haven within shouting distance of the editors, producers, directors, curators, and pharmaceutical companies of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York." The publication praises the College's strong sports teams, passionate professors, and focus on undergraduates. |
