Air Florida Flight 90 crashed after takeoff from Washington Airport in January, 1982. There were 78 killed on the flight; five survived. Seven others were killed on the ground, as the plane hit a bridge during rush hour before coming to a stop in the Potomac River. The plane had been deiced prior to takeoff but had to wait some time between deicing and clearance. Time-of-day is included in the script.
