SBDC Funding Partnerships

Our Partners

Funding for the Mercer/Middlesex Small Business Development Center is derived from The College of New Jersey, the US Small Business Administration (SBA) and the New Jersey Commerce Economic Growth and Tourism Commission under the college's subcontract agreement with Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. It's a partnership that gives the TCNJ Small Business Development Center access to new and developing information, network contacts and educational resources dedicated to small business.

New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJ SBDC )

The lead center for the Small Business Development Center network is the New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJ SBDC ) at Rutgers, The State University. The NJSBDC network of service providers and partners is in the knowledge business, tapping best practices and business intelligence from the public and private sector to counsel, train and educate established and aspiring small business owners so that they can compete more effectively in the domestic and global economies.

New Jersey Commerce, Economic Growth and Tourism Commission

New Jersey Commerce, Economic Growth & Tourism Commission is the state's lead agency in coordinating efforts between govenment and the private sector to provide a broad range of technical, financial and other assistance tothe business community. A vital component of the Commision's activities is the commitment to assist small businesses, which account for more than 81 percent of the state's employment.

Mercer County Office of Economic Opportunity

Located midway between New York City and Philadelphia in New Jersey's Center, Mercer County's 13 municipalities span 225 square miles. One tenth of the US population resides within a 75-mile radius around the center of Mercer County. Mercer County is priviledged to have the assets that make our area one of the best locations for businesses in the country to locate.
