College Internship Opportunities

MedNest (www.mednest.com) sources and develops the business of innovative medical technology companies for the US and the European markets and provides business operations and clinical operations shared services in the Drug - Device/Diagnostic - Healthcare IT/Services convergence space.
In order to reinforce its team of executive consultants and interim managers, MedNest offers several internship opportunities over the June - October 2008 timeframe in the areas of
(1) General Marketing (2) International Trade (3) Business Development.
A Major in Medicine, Dental Arts, Clinical Research Biochemistry or Medical technology and instrumentation / Health Sciences is preferable. Some of the projects currently opened for internship are:
- 3D Spine Imaging: Evaluate the US clinical and market opportunities of a 3D orthopedic imaging solution for the future US operations of a European Start Up
- Asthma and COPD Drug Delivery Device: Create and deploy a Marketing Campaign to promote novel drug delivery device in Asthma
- RFID traceability in Medical Devices: deploy a general Marketing Study ( Market/Segments/Value Proposition/Pricing) for an biocompatible RFID transponder and its related traceability solutions.
- Market Demand Creation projects (several areas): establish and execute targeted promotional campaigns for several international early stage companies in Life Sciences
