The sponsor aims to enable young scientists to attend Novartis
Foundation symposia (in London unless otherwise stated) and
immediately following the meeting, spend between four and twelve weeks
in the department of one of the symposium participants.  The sponsor
will provide travel expenses to the symposium and host laboratory, and
board and lodgings for the duration of the bursary.
