The Book
The yearbook is divided into sections: academics, campus life, events, athletics, organizations, faculty, senior portraits and feature pages. The academics, organizations and athletics sections are compiled in the fall semester. The campus life and events sections are rounded out in the spring semester since there are always new things to take photos of.
In recent years, The Seal has won several awards in the American Scholastic Press Association's Yearbook Contest. In 2005, The Seal received a second place award in the category for institutions with enrollments over 2,051 students, as well as the award for Best Overall Photography in the same category. In 2006, the Seal received a Third Place award in the category for institutions with enrollments over 2,051 students, as well as its second consecutive award for Best Overall Photography.
