Faculty Exchanges
Exchanges of faculty with partner universities abroad are a dynamic and important part of the international programs of The College of New Jersey. TCNJ encourages tenured members of the faculty to apply to participate in such programs.
Currently, TCNJ has agreements for faculty exchanges with the following international universities:

Applicants are asked to carefully check for any eligibility requirements such as discipline or language proficiency. Any benefits offered by the host institutions (such as housing, airfare, or stipends) will vary with each agreement. Continuation of TCNJ faculty salaries and benefits will depend on the type of exchange (such as one-for-one), when it occurs (such as a sabbatical or a leave), and any benefits offered by the chosen host university.
The application deadline is October 30 of the academic year prior to the exchange to ensure that all required approvals are received from the department chair, the appropriate dean, the International Education Program Council (IEPC) and the provost and for timely submission to the selected host university. Faculty applicants are strongly encouraged to begin their inquiries and the application at least 4 to 6 months before the October 30 deadline.
