Salary Ranges
The New Jersey Department of Personnel and The College of New Jersey job classification systems assign a designated salary range to each job title. Each range is comprised of a specified minimum and maximum base salary and, for classified (civil service) titles, are divided into steps. Salary ranges and their corresponding step increments are published in the applicable bargaining unit agreement.
