Fall Room Change Day

Please read the procedures carefully if you wish to participate in this process. 

Step 1: Check the vacancy list posted below on Monday, April 28th, 2008.  Please note that because we will have just completed the housing lottery and room selection process for the fall semester, only a minimal number of vacancies will exist, if any.

There are currently no vacancies for the sophomore year area.

Pennington 1910F - 1 male space (single)

Pennington 1884D - 2 female spaces (double)

Carlton 46A - 2 female spaces (double)

Carlton 60A - 2 male spaces (double)

Carlton 60C - 2 male spaces (double)

Step 2: Visit Housing in Eickhoff 114 to pick up and fill out a Room Change Request Form starting on Monday, April 30th.  If you are moving into a vacant space, no signature on the form is required.  If you are swapping rooms, signatures are required.

Step 3: After filling out all applicable parts of the Room Change Request Form, submit your form to Housing on Wednesday, April 30th between 9am - 4pm.  Note: If the room change has been approved, you will receive a copy of the room change form with an approval signature.

For all those present at 9am on April 30th, Housing will conduct a mini-lottery for students interested in current vacancies only, if any exist . Participants should arrive no earlier than 8:45am and no later than 9am to participate in the mini-lottery. Students participating in an even room swaps do not need to particpate in this mini-lottery and may arrive anytime between 9am-4pm.

Step 4: Notification from Housing will be given within a few business days.

Please know that Housing will try to grant any preferences that you may have, but that we will not be able to grant all requested preferences because of the sheer number of requests we anticipate.
