Meningitis Vaccination Requirement

New Jersey Law requires that ALL NEW RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS be immunized against meningitis BEFORE entering campus housing. Students will NOT be permitted to move into campus housing on move-in day unless the Office of Health Services has received documented proof of your vaccination against meningococcal meningitis. TCNJ students can obtain this vaccination from their primary health care provider. Students interested in vaccination at TCNJ Health Services should call (609) 771-2889 for more information.

About your Bill

Your semester bill must be paid-in-full by the posted due date or you will be subject to Deregistration and loss of campus housing.  If your bill is not paid-in-full by the due date, you must have authorization from the Office of Student Financial Assistance or the Office of Student Accounts in order to move into campus housing on your assigned move in date.  Please view the billing calendar for correct billing dates.

Delayed Check-in Notice

If you are unable to check-in to your housing assignment on the assigned date due to an emergency or personal circumstance, you MUST notify the Housing Assignments office as soon as possible. This will prevent your name from being placed onto a “no show” list.  Please notify us as soon as possible about a delayed check-in by contacting the Housing Assignments office at (609)771-2301, weekdays from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM or email us at housing@tcnj.edu.

Property Insurance Protection

Since The College of New Jersey does not provide personal property insurance, it is recommended that students determine if they are covered under their parent’s renter’s/homeowner's insurance policy or obtain a separate personal property insurance policy to protect their personal property. Two companies that offer insurance coverage are listed on our website at:
