Residential Governments
The Residence Hall Association
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is the coordinating body for the six residence area governments and represents all students living in college residence facilities.
Each residence hall facility is represented by an independent governing body devoted to improving the quality of life in their area of campus. These residence area governments plan programs, assist with the development of residence policies, and provide leadership opportunities to anyone who wants to be involved. These governments are:
- First Year Government
- Sophomore Year Government
- Townhouse Student Association, and
- Transfer Residence Association.
All resident students are welcome and encouraged to get involved in RHA, and their representing government. Look for advertisements announcing elections and meeting schedules in early September.
Each community has it's own local government which sends a representative to RHA to collaborate and stay abreast of current issues and trends in the campus population.
RHA also disseminates funding to the other bodies, coordinates TCNJ's delegation to regional (CAACURH) and national (NACURH) conferences, and maintains liaisons with a broad variety of campus departments.
The RHA office, located in Cromwell Hall Room 13 is also available via phone at 609.771.5162.
The National Residence Hall Honorary
NRHH is a nationally affiliated organization whose purpose is to honor the top 1% of residence hall leaders. This organization recognizes top programs, excellence in staff and outstanding students.
