Democratic Leadership Council: Blueprint Magazine

BLUEPRINT is the bimonthly magazine of the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC). It addresses the key national issues of the day. Its creative team works directly with the leadership of the DLC and the policy analysts of the Progressive Policy Institute, as well as with leading policy thinkers around the country. If you are a journalism/ political communications/ communications major, this could be valuable job experience for you.

Interns working with the editors will:

• Be all-around editorial assistants
• Do policy research, assist writers, support editors
• Do online photo research to illustrate the magazine
• Proofread, check layouts, deliver copy and materials

Deadlines for applications are rolling except for summer. Please submit summer applications by March 1st. Applicants outside the tri-state area (DC-MD-VA) must be 18 years or older to participate in the DLC-PPI internship program.
