Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct outreach to press, political, union and coalition partners.
• Provide logistical support for political and field organizing, including working with local community groups, UFCW local unions and other coalition groups.
Requirements:
• Prior political or organizing campaign experience desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Facility with computer applications, especially MS and Corel Office Suites.
• Strong Internet abilities.
Bilingual English-Spanish highly desirable.
Compensation: Paid internship
Duration: Starting now, up to six months. Minimum three days a week.
