Visions in Action Fundraising InternInternships are available on a continuous basis in their U.S. office in Washington DC, each requiring a commitment of three months or more for 15-40 hours per week. If their goals and mission look interesting to you, please send a resume and a cover letter to their office stating which internship(s) you would like, the exact dates that you could begin and end your internship, and the number of hours of service per week that you could give. In selecting interns, a competitive process, they look for relevant experience and seriousness of commitment, based on the length of service and weekly time commitment proposed. Graduate students and seniors are favored over sophomores and juniors, other things being equal. Nationals of the developing world are especially encouraged to apply, as are those with experience in the developing world. French and Spanish language capability is a plus. Duties: Assist Director with fundraising activities. Research foundations and corporations, write proposals, develop membership base and individual donors Requirements: Research, writing and editing skills; Strong communication and network skills Contact: Visions In Action |
