Legal Momentum – Summer Internships

Legal Momentum advances the rights of women and girls by using the power of the law and creating innovative public policy. Legal Momentum has a large vision. It is a society in which women control their own lives and make their own decisions about reproduction, family life and work, and enjoy safety and economic security throughout their lives. Women define their own goals and success. Women enjoy full civil rights and participate equally in the responsibilities and rewards of all aspects of the nation’s governance, economic activity, social and cultural institutions, and family. Women are not marginalized as a fringe group nor a special interest group; women’s priorities, work and success are valued and deemed central to our nation’s priorities, work and success.

Legal Momentum offers summer undergraduate internships in conjunction with the Everett Public Service Internship Program.

Legal Momentum offers summer undergraduate internships in the following areas:

  • Accounting
  • Communications Department
  • Immigrant Women Program (IWP-DC)
  • Public Policy (DC)
  • National Judicial Education Program (NJEP)
  • Intake, Referral and Outreach

Summer internships are administered in conjunction with the Everett Public Service Internship Program (visit www.everettinternships.org for more information). Summer interns are expected to work at least 30 hours each week and must participate in seminars and brown bag lunches sponsored by the Everett Internship Program.

The deadline for Everett internship applicants is February 28.

Please send a resume, cover letter and writing sample of no more than three pages to the address below.
