Types of IRB Review

All proposals must clearly describe the research methodology and must include the completed IRB Application and all pertinent supporting materials.

Getting Started

There are two categories of IRB review of proposed studies:

Some proposals may be determined to be exempt from review. All proposals, however, must be submitted through the eIRB System.

For a research project to be reviewed in a particular month, the complete proposal must be received at least two weeks before a scheduled IRB meeting.
