Proposals for proper review must be submitted in a timely fashion according to the following guidelines:

Applicants should keep in mind that the committee will sometimes request revisions or additional information. Please be sure to read the guideline for writing an informed consent as most proposals that require resubmission need a revised informed consent. Sample consent forms are available on this web site.

Calendar

For a research project to be reviewed in a particular month, the complete application must be received at least two weeks before a scheduled IRB meeting, although more time is recommended. Additional time may be needed if a proposal must be reviewed using more than one review procedure.
