[10.11.06] -- The Computer Swings this past Saturday was a huge success and we managed to raise approximately $35 from selling the photographs. We wish to thank all those who came and helped out. -- This is just a reminder that the trip to the Eastern State Penitentiary is taking place on Sunday, October 15th and the cost is $18 per person. If you haven’t already gotten your ticket, you should immediately do so as they are selling out fast. Tickets are sold Monday through Friday from 10am-4pm. Once your ticket is bought, please email the ACM account to let us know that you’re coming. We will meet in front of the ATM machine at 6:20 pm. -- ACM tech team --> if interested, you should email the ACM account at acm@tcnj.edu or Kate at lynch3@tcnj.edu with your area of expertise, contact information, and your hours of availability for on call service. -- The PHP workshop is Friday, November 10th from 3-4pm. It is free and it will take place Holman Hall Room 374B. -- The ACM Halloween Party is open to only ACM members and will take place most likely on Saturday, October 28th from 8pm-12am in the Norsworthy Lounge. -- ACM will be hosting a Video Game-a-thon on November 16th, from 7:30pm-11:30pm in Holman Hall, Room Number 252-253. The cost for attendance is $3, but those who volunteer to help setup will enter free. We are asking that anyone who has any equipment that they would like to donate, such as consoles, controllers, power strips, and games, to contact us at acm@tcnj.edu or kate at lynch3@tcnj.edu. -- As of now, the Digital Fortress website is up and running and there will be fliers up pretty soon that will be advertising this fact. The site contains general information regarding games, system requirements, sign-up and other topics related to the event. Those attending the event should mark off the games that they are interested in participating in so that we can make a bracket for that particular game. Also, tomorrow night at 7pm, in the TW Main Lounge, we will be testing the equipment for the Digital Fortress LAN party. -- ACM has set up a Google calendar that will post all meeting dates and times, in addition to event information. -- In New York, from tomorrow to this Sunday, there will be an event called Digital Life, in which they premier new technology to the public.
