Hey all,


Hope everyone's break went well and that you're all enjoying this semester
so far!!


Here are the minutes from yesterday's meeting:


-There will be an interest session for the upcoming Geek Auction and if
anyone is interested in participating in this particular event before then, 
he or she should contact Kate.


-We will be hosting a Valentine’s Day Gift Sale on February 9th, 12th, and
13th from 9am-5pm in the Student Center.  This will be similar to the sale
we held at the end of last semester.  Sign-ups will take place next week
and donations of goods will be greatly appreciated.

-On February 14th, from 7pm-12am in the Cromwell Main Lounge, we will be
hosting the Valentine’s Day Video Game Fest.

-On March 28th, Ricardo Miranda will be speaking about AJAX, PHP, and
programming and design in the library auditorium.

-The Student Activities Fair will take place on Wednesday, February 7th,
from 12pm – 3:30pm in the Student Center, where we will attempt to recruit
new members.

-On Thursday, March 8th, the ACM has reserved the Library Auditorium from
4-5pm and is asking for volunteers to give a presentation.  The executive
board will consider all those who come up with ideas and will vote on the
one who will present.

-The Tech Team, a special interest group of the ACM, is tentatively being
run by Chris Canik and Paul Bancer. Anyone who wants to join the group
or desires to co-run or run a workshop should speak to Chris or Paul.

-The ACM website now has a new look, with a number of additional features
and characteristics. 

-Also, we need someone to help take over Digital Fortress website control 
and all those interested should contact Andrew Heiss.
