September 13th, 2006 Meeting Minutes
- Last year, the ACM became involved in writing a program called
ProfRecord for the SGA, but this project unfortunately fell through.
However, this year, the SGA has once again asked the club to finish the
program, which is approximately 80% complete. If anyone is interested in
becoming a member of the development/support team, he or she should speak
to Kate or Andrew.
- We will be hosting the Old School Game Night next Tuesday in the
Centennial Snack Bar and further information on this event will be posted
on the website as it becomes available.
- If anyone has any older game systems that they would like to bring, such
as Nintendo 64 or Atari, please feel free to do so. In addition, we are
asking people to please bring any air hockey pucks and/or the equipment
used to shuffle these pucks if possible.
- This Sunday night, around 9-9:15, we will meet on the front lawn of
Holman Hall for chalking to advertise the event.
- Kate has also sent an invitation to this event through facebook to a
majority of the members to get a general idea thus far about who can or
can not attend.
- The ACM and the Japanese Club may have future game nights together.
Digital Fortress Update:
- Andrew and Bruno are currently in the process of updating the digital
fortress website and it should be running by tomorrow at the earliest.
Everyone should bring their own Ethernet cable and computer or laptop to
this event.
- Most likely, this event will be held in the TW lounge, but we need to
decide on a layout. As of now, we have four possible layouts for the
tables:
- Tables back to back
- One large square
- Horseshoe shape
- Circular formation (pods)
- If anyone has any input regarding this matter, feel free to talk to an
executive member or to email the ACM account.
- The official meeting time of the ACM is still every Wednesday at 4 pm in
Holman Hall. |
