HOPE at TCNJ

HOPE, (Helping Others by Providing Encouragement), is a new program available to TCNJ students who are seeking support and/or guidance with substance abuse issues.  A student mentor will be available to the TCNJ campus and will act as a liason to support groups, counseling services, and other resources. 

Goals of HOPE include:

-    Connecting students with support services within the community
-    Offering peer support and mentorship
-    Providing a safe place to discuss concerns related to substance use and abuse
-    Creating enjoyable, substance free activities on campus.
-    Reaching out to students through on campus organizations and events
-    Helping students through rough times through support and guidance.

If you or someone you know needs help with alcohol and or drug abuse related issues, wants to talk, or just would like a safe environment to relax, please visit the HOPE office in Eickhoff 159.
