Transfer Applicants
TCNJ values transfer students from two-year and four-year institutions. The pool of transfer applicants is very competitive. Applicants are required to submit their high school transcripts, SAT scores, and record of college credits. The greater number of college credits accumulated, the more weight college record will carry during the process of review. Credit EvaluationAs a service to our prospective Transfer Applicants, the Office of Records and Registration will schedule appointments to evaluate your transcripts. This service is by appointment only and takes place on Wednesday and Friday mornings between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. Students who have made application to The College will automatically receive an evaluation of their transfer credits with their acceptance letter. To make an appointment please contact Lisa Watson-Cotton in the Office of Records and Registration at 609.771.2351. Please remember to bring all college transcripts with you to your appointment. If you are attending a NJ community college, you can now use NJTransfer to do your own credit evaluation. |
Transfer ExperienceHistorically, 50 percent of transfer students come from two-year schools and 50 percent arrive from four-year schools. |
