Fundraising Highlights for the 2007 Fiscal Year

July 1, 2006-June 30, 2007

Congratulations supporters of The College of New Jersey! Fiscal year 2007 has been a great one. In the face of dramatic budget cuts by the state, our alumni and friends responded with both activism and generous donations to the College. Just a few highlights from this fundraising year include:

$8.5 million in donations to the TCNJ Foundation – Our largest cash total ever received!
5,760 Alumni gifts – Another record level of contributions in one year!
$1.03 million dollars given by Alumni – Again, the largest total ever!
A single gift annuity of $5 million from our dear friends, the Losers, to support the School of Nursing, Health, and Exercise Science – The largest single contribution ever!
Extremely generous gifts were given to enhance the library and the Schools of Art, Media, & Music and Education.
Alumni giving percentages were up 18% over last year. Not quite to the 10,000 individual contributors we had hoped, but we will get there!
