Law & Justice Alumni Chapter
The Law and Justice Alumni Chapter was formed independently in 1995 and was formally recognized as a chapter of The College of New Jersey Alumni Association in 1999.
Membership
Members of the chapter are graduates of the Department of Law and Justice as well as alumni who are employed in or have an interest in the field. Graduates of The College are active in all levels of the justice system: the federal, state, county, and local levels of government and the private sector.

Goals & Purposes
The primary goals of the chapter are to foster relationships among alumni of The College and to provide career information and opportunities for current students. Additionally, the chapter is interested in promoting and contributing to the field of law and justice. These goals are accomplished through:
- Hosting programs and events to promote interaction among alumni, faculty, and practitioners in the field of criminal justice.
- Maintaining a member employment database to foster networking opportunities for alumni and students.
- Producing newsletters and special mailings for all chapter members.
- Participating in job fairs for students and alumni.
- Recognizing outstanding contributions by alumni and others in the field of criminal justice.
- Convening two meetings a year.
- Supporting the activities of the American Criminal Justice Association's student chapter at The College of New Jersey.
- Co-sponsoring the annual Department of Law and Justice Awards Dinner.
