I look to be painterly in everything that I do. I also look to combine elements of Warhol and Pollock. If it is a camera I am using, I look to “paint” with it, and be painterly with the results, in other words, forfeit a certain amount of control when using it as a tool of expression. Once prints, paintings, digital outputs, etchings, sculptures, or any combination thereof, are finished, then repetition is explored as a form of degradation, amplification, movement, etc. as a final stroke to completion of a project.
