My work takes advantage of the diminishing divide between the physical and virtual world. The dichotic relationship between these worlds is simultaneously interwoven and detached, which has led to higher productivity as well as addiction and solitude. I have been exploring our increasing reliance on the digital realm by using animation and other forms of computer generated media. My work uses this digital media to critique and parody this new phenomenon.

I believe that 3D Animation is a perfect conduit for commenting upon this experience of technological addiction. The cultural connection to this emerging technology is still one of wonder and awe. Since I am commenting on addictive technologies in my work, using a new technology that people are still amazed by is an effective way to comment on themes relating to new and overwhelming technologies.
