Using digital mediums such as illustration, animation, and image compositing, my work investigates social and political issues based upon personal observation extending into global research. I explore contemporary issues in a journalistic fashion, and then apply humor and a child-like curiosity to represent these serious concerns in a digestible form. Culture, religion, politics and gender constructs are all topics that I quickly gravitate toward, but it is the subjective reality behind these global issues that truly interests me. The scorned woman, the wronged man, the endangered child and the abandoned elderly are just some of the individuals I seek to learn more about. I wish to give voice to the underrepresented, the haunted and the brave.
