Has been teaching two-dimensional design, color theory, painting and drawing at TCNJ since 1972. Professional degrees: BA in art (University of Bridgeport, CT), MA in drawing and MFA in painting (Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL.

Artwork by Bruce Rigby has been included in over 185 exhibitions nationwide, 20 of which were solo exhibitions, while over 30 resulted in awards.  He has been the recipient of numerous research grants and two sabbatical leaves of absence from The College. Bruce Rigby’s artwork is included in many private and public/corporate collections. Some examples are: AT&T, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, City Corp Bank, Ethicon Corp, Hoechst-Roussel Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson, Ortho Pharmaceutical Corp, SmithKline Beecham, and Valcor Corp. His most recent solo exhibition was in April 2007 at the Rabbet Gallery, New Brunswick, NJ.
