Assistant Professor Michael Kabbash has been working in the graphic design industry since 1989 after graduating from Trenton State College. His professional work ranges from corporate, financial & pharmaceutical design, to cartooning & illustration, to pro-bono work for several non-profit organizations. Prof. Kabbash began teaching in 1998, and in 2005 he earned his MFA from New Jersey City University. During his thesis work, Prof. Kabbash established www.graphix4change.com, a political blog and online gallery for his activist artwork. The site and several of his works have received international press coverage, with hundreds of thousands of works downloaded worldwide. In addition to the website, Prof. Kabbash has also exhibited his work in traditional galleries and shows across the U.S.
Prof. Kabbash combines traditional hand-on methods with current computer technology, stressing the importance of both to his students, while keeping them mindful of the design industry that awaits beyond the walls of TCNJ.
