
Ruane has exhibited her work extensively in solo and group exhibits, curated and juried. Her work is in numerous private collections here and abroad and in the following public collections: the print collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Museum of Art, San Francisco, and the Mercer County, New Jersey, Cultural Commission Permanent Collection. Her work has been recognized through numerous awards, grants, and fellowships. She has been awarded competitive artist residency fellowships by the Ucross Foundation in Wyoming, by the Vermont Studio Center’s Geraldine R. Dodge Awards, and most recently by the Petrified Forest National Park Artist Residency Program in Arizona.
Her recent work is concentrated in digital imaging and digital printmaking and includes a new series of panoramic digital prints.
