Faculty: Bruce Rigby

Has been teaching two-dimensional design, color theory, painting and drawing at TCNJ since 1972. Professional degrees: BA in art (University of Bridgeport, CT), MA in drawing and MFA in painting (Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL.

Artwork by Bruce Rigby has been included in over 170 exhibitions nationwide, 18 of which were solo exhibitions, while over 30 resulted in awards. He has been the recipient of numerous research grants and two sabbatical leaves of absence from TCNJ. Bruce’s artwork is included in numerous private and public/corporate collections including: AT&T, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, Carnegie Center Associates (Princeton), City Corp Bank, Ethicon Corp, Hoechst-Roussel Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson, Mutual Benefit Insurance Co., Oliver Realty Corp., Ortho Pharmaceutical Corp, Public Service Electric and Gas Co., SmithKline Beecham, Valcor Corp and Washington County Museum, MD. He also has been the recipient of two fellowships from the NJ State Council on the Arts.
