Elizabeth Mackie is a Associate Professor of Art and Program Coordinator for Graphic Design. She has taught at TCNJ since 1989. In 1996-97 she was an Exchange Professor in the American Studies and Art Departments at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany. She received a BS in Mathematics from Salisbury University and a BA, MFA from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Elizabeth has exhibited her work nationally and internationally in numerous invited and juried solo and group exhibits. Elizabeth has received numerous grants and fellowships including a Mid-Atlantic Regional Media Arts Fellowship; Visiting Artist Fellowship, Center for New Media, Frankfurt, Germany; Artist Fellowship, New Jersey State Council on the Arts; and Fellowship, Center for Technology Studies, NJ Institute of Technology. Most recently she received a Geraldine R. Dodge Residency Fellowship at Women1s Studio Workshop, NY. Elizabeth1s independent video productions have been screened internationally, broadcast nationally and purchased by WHYY, Philadelphia. Her productions have received numorus awards including Second Award, The 10th Annual Philadelphia International Film and Video Festival; Honorable Mention, Dance on Camera, NYC; Independent Productions Award, Women in the Directors Chair, Chicago; Finalist, International Film and TV festival of NY, TV Programs; Third Award, Herland III Film and Video Festival, NY.
