
Ruane Miller is a Professor of Art at The College of New Jersey where she has taught since 1986. She has served as Chairperson of the Art Department and as Coordinator of both the Fine Arts and Digital Arts programs. She has a MFA from the College of Fine and Applied Arts, Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York in Computer Graphics with a minor in Computer Science. She has a MFA and a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Rome, Italy and Philadelphia respectively. She has taught on the college level since 1977 at various institutions in the areas of Digital Arts, Fine Arts, and Art History. She currently teaches Digital Arts Imaging I and Imaging II, and Fine Arts Thesis.
Ruane has exhibited her work extensively in solo and group exhibits, both invited and juried. Her work is in numerous private collections here and abroad and in the following public collections: the print collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Museum of Art, Print Collection, San Francisco, and the Mercer County, New Jersey, Cultural Commission Permanent Collection. Her work has been recognized through numerous awards, grants, and fellowships.
