Program Highlights

  • Students majoring in art education receive the BA degree, which qualifies them for K–12 New Jersey State Art Teacher Certification.
  • Fine arts majors benefit from exposure to major museums, galleries, and collections in New York and Philadelphia.
  • Graphic design students may pursue a general curriculum in graphic design or choose to concentrate in either computer graphics, illustration, or photography.
  • Music performance and music education majors may choose to specialize within the department’s vocal, keyboard, or instrumental areas of study.
  • TCNJ is one of the first institutions to offer a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interactive Multimedia, with specializations in Interactive Computing, Digital Media, and Professional Writing.
