Hey everyone. This coming up Saturday, we're participating in Community Fest. We'll be making crafts out of recyclable material. If you have any plastic bottles, caps, tops, cups, paint, brushes, etc drop them off in the box above the ASA board on the 3rd floor of Holman Hall. We also need people to help with the table. Set up is at 9:30 am. The event is from 10am to 3ish. If you'd like to help, email us with the time slot you can do.Also, we'll be doing a roaming art garden outside of Holman on Quimby's Prairie. If you have any art work you'd like to display (sculpture, paintings, drawings, etc) bring it to set up outside on Wed., Oct. 11 between 10 - 11am.
Our first Open Mic Nite is scheduled for Oct. 27, 2006 at 8pm. If you or anyone you know is musically inclined, does poetry, etc., let them know and we will soon be having sign-up sheets around Holman. If you would like to help decorate, set-up, clean-up, or bake goodies email us to let us know.
Theta Nu Xi is having Play as ONE. Basically, groups sign up members and the day of the event (Saturday, Oct. 28 from 1:30 - 3:30pm) they are divided into teams of people from various orgs and work together in different field game activities. The members of the winning team will recieve PRIZES! If anyone would like to participate, there will be a sign up sheet on the ASA board or you can email us. Make sure to put Play as ONE in the subject line. The last day to register will be THIS WEDNESDAY.
We will be starting the ASA t-shirt orders. The price will be somewhere under $10.

Welcome back! The semester has started and ASA has some great events being planned for the new school year. We've had our first meeting; thanks to all who attended. Our first Open Mic Night is scheduled for friday, Oct. 20th. We will be having sign-ups for those who wish to perform, help set-up, or contribute snacks.Michael Gumpert from Trenton ArtWorks came to speak about Art All Night. It's a free event for people of all ages to display their artwork. It will run sometime in March or April from 2pm on a Sat. to 2pm the next day. He is looking for volunteers to serve on various planning committees, or to help the day of the event. If you're interested or would like to know more about the event, click the link above.
