What role does the cover play in the portfolio? Represents the subject Personalizes the portfolio Sets a tone or standard for the contents Presents necessary information: Course Title & Your Name SIZE: The size and format of your portfolio will be 11"x17', horizontal (landscape) Remember to leave one inch on the left side for binding. Any text or logo material in this area will be punched by the binder. LOGO: You should develop a logo that you feel will depict you and your interests. The size should be about 4 x 4 inches and placed on your cover with your typography. TYPOGRAPHY: Choose a cover type style and size for the words "Creative Design" and "set" them using an appropriate software program. Arrange this title on the cover to balance your logo design. Complete the type for the cover by setting and locating your name and the semester you are taking this course. Paste up the images on white or color 11"x17" paper allowing the one inch space on the left end of the page. The first page inside the portfolio will be a table of contents which will locate each entry within the document. This page will also establish your page layout and style for the rest of the portfolio. Type within the portfolio will be used to label/identify each of your examples that represent each section listed on the following "Portfolio Evaluation Form".
